Ohhhh yeahhhhh. So we are potentially getting ready to sell our house, so all the half finished projects are getting finished.
2019 when I was sitting at home during the quarantine I decided to build a back porch. Last week I finally got the railing up.
I also put a couple steps off the porch too.

The whole past 5 years is a blur lol. Dead ass, my life has flashed before me.

Had a squeaky single handle Moen faucet. The parts only $35 but I saw on YouTube you can take the cartridge apart and lube it with some silicon grease. Part of the cartridge broke And I have a little metal rubbing plastic but it’s 90% better. I’ll replace it when it gets stiff again.
Installed the hooks in the “mudroom” off the garage last night
Totally bare workshop needs a work bench. One sitting and one standing, standing one will have shelves under it. The random 2x4’s and 4x4 are just sitting there until I need them. Need to get some plywood for the top, make the shelves, support the front edges and all good

I’ve always liked using the shitty counter top from big box stores as work bench tops. Easy to clean up and cheap.
Power washing the garage floor from all the salt and rust stains from building the table over winter. At least I’m having beer while I work.
Came out pretty good overall. It’s not like it was when it was new last year, but I’ll take it. There are some spots I need him to come back and fix that were too thin I noticed after cleaning.
FIl came by. He helped me put up drywall in the bathroom we framed. Now if my wife would make up her mind what she wants for flooring. I’m getting really annoyed by the PCV exhaust pipe for the heater. I’m really fucking close to chopping it off and re-routing it.
I'd say do it now before you finish the bathroom. If it annoys you now, its really going to annoy you when you finish the walls and ceiling and paint it, then see that thing sticking out constantly.
The cost is one of the reasons I never did mine and at the dealers I have worked for the shops look great the first few months when new and after that they don’t look the same and I’m talking about the service drive where a car only drives on it. The shop is a different story that looks like crap
It’s $150 now for a 5 gallon and u have to get it from a Wisconsin,Indiana, HD they don’t sell it in Illinois. I’ll be doing mine in the next week or two
Power washed just about everything today except for the covered front porch because that’s about to be a construction zone. Yesterday I ripped a soffit panel down to see what’s above it. Anyways I’m planning cedar ceiling, new 6x6 posts and railing.
Post up when you get it done. I have been looking to do this instead of epoxy paint on my floor also
