My take on Loco Moco.
White rice, lean ground beef, couple eggs and brown gravy.

That actually looks and sounds good. Any seasoning on the ground beef?
Also if doing it to be a healthy meal, wouldn’t it be better to substitute brown rice for white rice? Not talking shit, I’m just curious on that part

Give it a try sometime. Super easy to make and you can add / change stuff based on how you like it. It’s a staple in Hawaiian cuisine.

I use basic seasoning on the ground beef: salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and crushed red pepper.

As for the rice I’m not really sure. I hear pros and cons to both but imo I don’t think one is actually “better” than the other. I had white rice on hand so it’s what I used. lol

Yeah I looked it up and when I saw it was a Hawaiin dish. I was shocked it wasn’t made with spam lol
