Yes. I forgot to mention Harold’s. I’ve been to a Harold’s many times and it never fails. Always tasty.

Hienie’s Shrimp House in Chicago has amazing chicken also. I never had anything less than perfect fried chicken at Hienie’s.

Never thought I would read about Hienies on TCG. Been going there my whole life. Shitty area but doesn’t bother me. Not my favorite but usually on point. Gotta have the hot and mild sauce on it. Messy but good. Gus’s in the meat market area in west loop is my favorite. Can’t go wrong with Harolds either.

You guys really need to get out of the burbs.
R U Hungry or Harolds. I thought they were opening a Harolds in or around Schaumburg.
Canes isn’t bad, better than Popeyes.
They did open a Harold's in Schaumburg about 2 years ago. It's been hit or miss but still good overall.

Back in the day when I lived in Brighton Park (late 80s/early 90s), we'd hit up a Harold's on 71st and Western. Nothing like 3 white dudes walking in looking like narcs and ordering gizzards and 3 piece dinners. The good ole days.

When we lived in the city, there was this soul food place on Division between Leavitt and Damen somewhere and it had some damn good chicken. Can't remember the name but maybe my taste in chicken sucks because I believe it went under. They had so much damn good stuff there.
