This thread here is basically an evergreen welcome wagon for new members. It contains a quick crash course on how to use the site, as well as other important info. It will be updated from time to time but will always be available as a reference to noobs and long time members.
What to do once you've signed up:
1. Set all of your account details here - https://www.thechicagogarage.com/account/ and set all of your preferences here - https://www.thechicagogarage.com/account/preferences. If you're using an Android, I suggest enabling push notices for your mobile browser, so you get real time updates on things like mentions, quotes and updates on followed content. This SHOULD work on iOS but the process is still a bit unpredictable.

3. Like the community? Want to support TCG while gaining some new features? Considering signing up for TCG Premium.
4. By default, all new members will be using the Dark Style with bottom navigation (great for mobile). But we have other themes available, which can be adjusted here - https://www.thechicagogarage.com/account/preferences

7. If you're viewing the site via a computer, the navbar at the top will direct you around the site. On mobile, the menu at the bottom right will pull up navigation.
The tabs do as follows:
- Forums - This takes you to the main directory of sections on the site
- What's New - An auto refreshing page showing you the latest content (great for desktop use)
- TCG Blue - Explained above
- Members - This allows you to do things like search members or see top posts of the month
- Garage takes you to our visual explorer of all the great builds on the site.
- Shops - This is a list of all TCG partner shops
