Weed wacker keeps dying after 15 seconds

Yea, they have a one way valve IIRC and might stick

Ok after poking around and taking it mostly apart, the problem seems to be with the pull string mechanism....something is catching and causing the motor to stop dead. I can't get the outer clutch off to investigate further...I think I'll cut my losses, which are exactly $0, just some of my time and less than a pint of gas

Buy Stihl. Use their fuel. Never have an issue.

Buying electric....don't have a big enough yard to necessitate a gas weeder...a little electric job should do just fine...seems like these battery powered lawn things have really gotten a lot better...especially with the lith ion batteries
