We have no need for a large SUV. I told her that last year. She had an Accord Coupe V6 before kids. And when I met her she had a 2000 Civic EX that she put 180k on (ORIGINGAL CLUTCH TOO).

The Honda accords with a v6 are bad ass I owned one for about 4 mos. The coupe v6 had a really nice exhaust note.

I had a 94 Prelude SI 5spd (non-VTEC ). Got it with 50k miles on it, and the clutch was slipping. Previous owner was not good with the stick/clutch. Replaced it with an OEM clutch and it was solid until I traded the car in with 175k miles on it. I have to admit that the factory clutch, when not abused by an incompetent driver, will last a long time.

My Mazdaspeed3 had the original clutch on it when I traded it in with 140kish on it. I bought it new in 08, didn't particularly baby it but I didn't beat on it either. If you're not an asshat, stock clutches should last long.

I’m surprised the Arteon is only a 2 liter four banger with a turbo. I’d have thought at least a small six option. Lot of weight for that engine to move around.
