I mean, I don't think many people are going to be tracking their Volvo's anytime soon...so the use for 100+ is pretty limited

I don't see this as much of surprise, considering Volvo is trying to eliminate deaths in their vehicles in the very near future.

I've certainly never taken mine to 112. Probably should see where she cuts out one day.

Then again a 400hp vehicle at 112 within sanity weight wise is like fucking a hooker and not nutting.

A simple bit of code saves Volvo a lot of money. Don't need 150 mph tires for one thing. Just that one item could save Volvo what? $200 or so per car?

You want to go over 112 in your Volvo? Buy tires and a tune that turns off the limiter. That's what I did in my Cobra. IIRC, they were limited to 155 mph originally.
