So, for something more than 'Meh'.

Tonally the movie is all over the place. Venom's wild character shifts and humor doesn't always work.

You can see it a bit in the trailers with the, "That is a Red one!" comment. And while that's funny, and yeah, I laughed, the humor doesn't always pan out with Venoms switch from bad ass to coward.

With that being said.... I felt as if they tried to hard to try and make the movie more comical. Parts of the movie also felt rushed.

Venom 3 Officially Greenlit by Sony Pictures

During CinemaCon, Sony Pictures officially announced that Venom 3 is on the way for the Tom Hardy-led film franchise in the Spider-Man universe.
