I would have to really dig, but I might still have the issue of Motor Trend that was mentioned in the video, March 1993. Whether it was that article, or another had a comparison of five or six different vette's, including IIRC, the "Snake Skinner", which had a 383 stroker. Vaguely remember something about the oil (pump?) shitting the bed when the ZR12 was doing top speed runs so it couldn't do a full pull.
