I just checked my usage in Dec and I’m 442kw and for Nov 500kw I have all the same stuff going. Something is way off

I've been in the house a year now, 11 billing cycles, and the average gas & electric bill is $299. That's not bad at all IMO
Big benefit of building with efficiency, good components and proper systems/sealing done.

what's your budget bill estimate now?
My Nicor bill showed up yesterday, not bad at $59.30. But I also don't have a McMansion like most of the TCG Ballerz have.
paid 1.89/gal for propane when we moved in last year. two months ago we topped off and it was 1.29/gal.
