Using 5w-30 in the winter

I did an oil change today and used Castrol Syntec 5w-30. I didnt even realize that it was 5w until it was already in the car. The oil cap says 10w-30.

Is this going to be a probelm?

The first number is start-up weight. 5 is better for winter anyways.....

Next time give German castrol 0w30 a shot next time!

I use 10W30 in the summer but that's about it.

Before I changed my oil it got kinda cold and the car was a bit stiff in the mornings. I noticed that using 5w made the car start easier.

But in the owner manual they said 5w is fine in the winters. :bigthumb:
