I wonder how much longer it will be before we have photo realistic environments. Faces will take a lot longer but environments will come first.

Its cool and all for looks, but honestly useless cause don't look at my KB when gaming lol.

I guess if you were a streamer it would 'complete' your tricked out setup for the fans, but ultimately useless for you personally.

God damn. I mean, its not flawless, the mouth movement is still uncanny valley but that's insanely fast.

i still find miko having some of the coolest stuff out there.



animation quite impressive, i do feel it looks better as a still than the motion though. does it count as uncanny valley if i can tell something is off, but it doesn't bother me? i thought the term was specifically focused on eliciting a feeling of discomfort or disgust. i feel something but i don't consider it discomfort, it does just seem off while moving. this may be in part due to her own acting/exaggerations too. certainly feels like we'll have fully climbed out of the uncanny valley soon.

These demos are pretty much jokes. Sure you can run something hyper realistic....when there is no AI. No physics. No anything.
