2009 g8 gt for sale, 15,000 miles. $32k
700+rwhp, easy 10’s in the ¼ mile, reliable daily driver.
I hate to sell the car but it is at a turning point where I need to consider a built motor and a roll bar if I want to go any faster and I hate to ruin the car with a roll bar.
Here are the details on all of the mods.
TURBO SET UP
Twin precision 60mm billet wheel turbos mounted where the factory cats used to be, conservatively rated at 650hp each
Twin tial 38mm waste gates
Tial 50mm blow off valve
Full dual 3” stainless exhaust
Blitz speed based boost controller
Dual in single out front mount intercooler
2” charge pipes from each turbo, 3” charge pipe from intercooler to engine.
All pipes are stainless. Exhaust is made with vbands.
Comp cam non dod cam. 216/224 .561/568" 115LSA +2 advance
LS2 Lifter Trays
Comp Cams Adjustable Timing Set
Comp valve springs and push rods
Stock mls head gaskets with arp head bolts

The car runs great and is a blast to drive. I have put 4000miles on it in the last 6 weeks including 3200miles going on drag week. No issues at all. Ran several low 11 passes and a best ot [email protected] with a 1.68 60’.
Car gets to park inside but it has been driven like a normal car so it isn’t perfect. It has a couple of dings, a couple of chips, a ding in the window tint. It’s very nice but not show room perfect.
Other issues. You can hear the oil return pump when the car is cold. Car has the typical gm piston slap on cold days when the engine is still cold. It has been doing it for 10,000miles and is no worse. Converter has a rattle when in park. CircleD checked it and fixed it but it came back quickly, they say no issue with running it that way but you can hear it. The 17’s rub a little in the back when the car is fully loaded
I am sure there are parts I forgot and maybe an issue or two as well. I cant say enough how nice the car is to drive. After the tranny build it is a whole new car. The tranny is out on my truck and once that gets back I will be getting the g8 professionally detailed. Car should be ready to go in a week or so.
