Was about to say I never towed with my Colorado but I did. I towed my buddies lightning on a steel 20ft trailer for 200 miles. Not sure what the weight was but it had to be over the 7k rating of the WT I had. No issues with doing it but again that was a base WT model with a trailering package. Your results may vary.

Tbss was rated 1500-1700lbs more capacity than your baby truck.

True, rated to 6800. I did look for a used Tibber but did not see any that were nice enough.

WT gasser I think rated to 7000. On paper it's not the best choice but I'd rather drive a truck I enjoy most of the time and then tow once in a great while.

After seeing that big rv you drove with a trailer, you'll be fine. You know how to be cautious and watch what is going on ahead and around you.

I pull over twice the gvwr of my pickup and it's fine. Just watch what you're doing.
