IN just sucks to drive across, so fucking boring.

The drive is boring when you are by yourself driving a family sedan. When you are around a bunch of other cool cars getting on the gas it can be fun.

I have driven through KY plenty of times, no not the lube, the state. It is a nice drive. I'll completely agree.

Straight, flat, and boring when you're (as stated above) alone, sure. We don't have to take 65, albeit less efficient, slower, longer etc... we can use back roads. It is a road trip, isn't it?

My grandpa lived in Evansville and my whole life we'd go down there 5-10 times a year. Suffice to say, it takes exactly 6 hours and 15 minutes from Algonquin to his old house. So add what, another hour for Louisville?

I've done a couple car tours in the past - instead of waiting for everybody... at every stop, why not just have meet points and people get there when they get there

Truth is, we intentionally didn't do that because the idea was to keep the group together and drive as a group - keeping the cars in tighter groups on the highway and making a bit more of a "scene" if that makes sense.
