Keep the boxes.

Boxes have a model#. The 1/2" is R86011SB. The 3/8" is R86239SB.

Make a Rigid account, and there is a link to register.

Then you register the tool, battery, and chargers. And they all fall under the lifetime warranty.

Not sure about the batteries though, they will eventually wear out, I can't see them replacing them forever and ever.

They have auto-sensing torque too.

On the 3/8" in low speed it stops at 15ft-lbs. Med = 50ft-lbs, and high is 100ft-lbs.

So if it were accurate, then the 3/8th should be just about right for lugs on a car.

Finally had a reason to use the 1/2".

Having the electric impact literally knocked 45 minutes off the time it takes to properly swap the tires on my RS for winter.

it was so nice to just zip the lugs off without having to hand loosen everything while the tires are on the ground, and then ratchet them off.

And the Auto Stop feature is fucking amaze balls. It'll stop as soon as its hits the first Ugga Dugga. I put finger threaded the on, then nascar style ran them down on Auto. It put each lug at roughly 50-70 ft-llbs. All I had to do was roll around to each one with the ratchet and I only got about 15° extra turn, which is right around 100ft-lbs with my 1/2 Ratchet.

And my back hurts nowhere near as much as it usually does when I have to manually do it with the ratchet.

That Auto mode is pimp!
