What are the signs of a timing chain that has jumped a tooth or two on one bank & not the other ?
How is that different from advancing or retarding the cam ?
You could do a compression check and see if both banks match each other. Although I don't know if one tooth will make a huge difference, they should be the same if they are correct.
And by jumping a tooth, that IS retarding/advancing, depending which direction it jumped.
