Traded in my 2019 F150 5.0 for this 2022 F150 Lariet 3.5 Ecoboost. We leveled it and a put my old F150 wheels on it. Love how it turned out. It has the Star metallic white paint so I hope it doesn’t ever need to be touched up. Definitely has some cool features but most of all looking forward to towing with it. One of the main reasons we traded up is we are towing more and longer distances. I tried to convince myself to move up to a F250 diesel but man are those expensive And I don’t think it would be cheap to daily. The only thing I wish is that the grill was body color matched.

Question, why the TT-V6 instead of another 5.0? I’ve looked at them a few times and am completely undecided. Don’t know the full list of pros/cons.

The first 5.0 didn’t fair well towing so I wasn’t entertaining another. I am in Missouri and it’s really hilly between my house and our property. The 5.0 makes all its torque above 4500 rpm, not a pleasant tow. The EB makes more torque at lower RPM’s. This truck also is out fitted with the Max tow package. One last reason, go drive both, since this will be my DD it’s a blast to drive over the 5.0.

Congrats on new truck it looks awesome! I will say that the Eco is much better to drive around town with and it tows 100% better than my 5.0 10spd. I just towed around 9,000lbs back from Detroit with my Eco and it did great. Only 8mpgs, but it pulled it very nicely!

I really appreciate you posting this confirming my choice. Haven’t hooked up anything yet to test it out but driving around town is definitely fun. Congrats on the new Mustang, now pick some wheels…??

Rent Free Rent Free it has a 36 gallon tank. I wouldn't buy one with out it. I have also seen those tuning posts and improvements. I need to stop looking at them…LOL.

Seriously the 5.0 with my Mustang out back on a Uhaul trailer would really struggle to get up to speed. The Eco just does it effortlessly, and that was with at least a few thousand pounds more. You’ll be amazed by how well it tows after using the 5.0.

And I’m working on the wheels…lol
