If it's a beater sure. But expect overspray on everything, orange peel, and it only lasting ~3 years before deep fading
What does a quality wrap cost these days? What about a wrap?

The hardest part about this route is controlling the environment you spray in. Wind, dust, dirt etc... Can ruin a paint job fastI think I’d rather prep it myself and use a single stage paint and a hvlp gun. You can buy some fairly cheap tools to get this done yourself if you wanted to tackle it.
If I was going to do it myself, I'd still do a base/clear. At that point, even cheap base/clear will be better than cheap single stage.I think I’d rather prep it myself and use a single stage paint and a hvlp gun. If I had a garage, this was my plan for the GTA since the Maaco paint has started to really let go in the last 2 years.Even spraying in a booth you can get trash in the paintjob. It's easy to build a temp booth at home. 2x4's and .5mil plastic sheets. Grab a few boxes fans and cheapo filters to fit them. Just make sure to wet the floor before spraying to keep the dust down.
Maybe get some Behr Porch and Deck paint and one of those little foam rollers? Probably last longer, definitely be smoother.
