I'm cleaning my wife's LCP, we haven't put a lot of rounds through it, and a few spots peak my brain. It's been jamming a lot, and not racking properly. It was cleaned and oiled (lightly) after it was purchased. The edge has a slight burr on it, and the brass by the striker seems a bit excessive. No?

It has a Galloway Precision stainless guide rod and 13lb Recoil spring (factory is 9lb).20180516_200429.jpg20180516_200440.jpg20180516_200523.jpg20180516_200612.jpg20180516_200618.jpg

Recoil killed my wife's wrist. Changing it out is made it way more controllable

Put the factory recoil spring back in and see if it has issues, recoil springs are supposed to be matched to the ammo you use, the stuff your shooting may not be hot enough to cycle the slide all the way

Well, I would have to find it first... Not in the box like I thought it was I don't believe it would be the recoil spring, and I've used 100gr FMJ

"jam" is a pretty broad term. Is it FTF, FTE or something else? Also, tried other mags? That's the first place to look in virtually any gun. Hell maybe give them a good clean out too.

Both FTF and FTE. We have 2 Ruger mags and several Pro mag for the range (6rnd cap). At first I figured it was the pro mag feed, as the Ruger mags happened less. But that's not the case.

if the bullet hits the feed ramp but doesn't follow it up and stops, polishing will help

Try the original spring first. I'm guessing that might be the issue.
Also, are you lubing it enough and in the correct spots?

On those wear marks, you might want to try some grease. I have a Walther that does something similar in regards to wear marks and I use Mobil 28 mil spec grease on it which seems to help.
