It will not start at or over $60k...and thinking so is flat out nuts. Really...on no planet would it even be realistic. Its that nuts. And I'm willing to back that statement with a cash wager!

Mid $50s for a mid size SUV is not logical or rational.

But, it is ridiculous.

Buy used, after it depreciates like a rock (at the 2 - 3 yrs timeframe).



Agree it’s ridiculous, but that’s the market. What cheaper option is there for a 400hp RWD based AWD SUV?

I don’t know if the ST will depreciate like a rock. The Explorer Sport depreciation hasn’t been worse than other vehicles.

The market is absurd

285 hp, 350 hp, 400 hp, etc. doesn’t justify ridiculous pricing

2 - 3 yrs old Explorer Sports w/ 40k miles range are selling for 50% - 60% of original MSRP at dealerships. The owners received even less value on trade.

Hence, depreciates like a rock.
