The other thread about world ending in 2012 reminded me of an older documentary about phantom time during Medieval Times. I couldn't find the original I watched some time ago, it was far more detailed. There's a hole in archaeological artifacts recovered in the Old World stretching from Iceland through England, Hungary, Byzantine Empire, Arabian Empire, from India to Indonesia during that time period. It's a strong indicator that that the theory could be accurate. So technically if world was supposed to end in 2012 we still have 297 years to go.
