I started this last night and am 2 episodes in. The production value is not crazy high or as good as Game of Thrones, but I really like the show. The story line so far is great and the episodes have are balanced well.

The first 3 episodes are out and it looks like they are only releasing episodes on Friday’s. Not sure if they are going to release 3 episodes at a time or just 1.

I recommend the show!

I don’t know if I’ll give it a shot. The first 15 mins I watched was boring to me.

I"m a few episodes in, I'm liking it so far. I've never seen GoT so I can't compare it, but for me it's reminding me a bit of LOTR in a good way.

It seems like a fan of both LOTR and GoT made a fan-fiction series and it got picked up. I don't know the backstory of the author, I don't know that I'll keep watching it.

I'm a maybe. I tend to like more action. In contract LOTR has great pacing and I loved it.

That said I have never watched GoT. Based on my above comments, would I like it?

After season 5, nobody liked it. I say skip it.

I won't say that I'm 100% invested, but I enjoyed WoT, I didn't find too many faults with it.

This book series is way too long to make waiting from season to season worth it. It's a good show, but I don't see people waiting around long enough for them to make the whole thing. So there's really little point in watching it right now, if ever. My recommendation... read the books. Actually, strike that. Listen to the audiobooks. The voice acting is solid, and you can do it while driving.
