Yeah, that messed up my commute earlier this week. Looked at our totals and we got 341" last year which is still a little below average. We're at almost 200" since jan 1 (277" total) with another storm coming in next week. It has the potential to be just as strong as the last one. We'll see what happens.
 
Its like 14 hours or something like that. I remember looking into it a year or two back.

Id love to do it in the Evo but thats a long way from home to have something happen.



I think you also have to worry about not being able to get high octane gasoline out there. In the higher elevations, they use lower octane gas and that could be a problem if your car is tuned for 93.

I don't see why it wouldn't be. Octane rating is the resistance to knock. High elevation gives more knock resistance because there's less air. It the reason my truck runs perfectly fine on 85 octane.


I guess if you were trying to compensate in your tune for it, then maybe it would be an issue :dunno:

My Subaru ran less psi with no changes here. I'm guessing if you attempted to add more boost (back to where it would be at sea level) then you'd probably run into issues.
