Took this the other day while riding the Dakota ridge/redrocks trails. The smoke from out west has made for some interesting sunsets.

Really keeping the options open but liking stuff in and around carson so I'm close to 50 and kingsbury, if I don't end up washoe wanting easy access to the desert and close to my cousin. Washoe is also close to the airport and any other Reno stuff needed without living in Reno. Don't think we want to up the mountain unless she can get work from home and no where near the freedom you get being in NV vs CA / south lake.

Dude that washoe fire was the construction workers working on my cousins house/addition. 1200 acres and like $300k of fire suppression (2 plane loads dropped and choppers picking up water right from washoe lake

I guess mt rose has a camera that detects fires and zooms in, I'll need to find that from a pc lol

about 10-15 sec in the smoke starts, I think they were grinding or cutting metal but they really go after liability and insurance hard to recoup those costs.

Went up to northern New Mexico/southern Colorado area this weekend and did some riding and hiking. Very pretty part of the country. Some locals put up a cool flag pole at the top of this mountain.
