Besides some of the unnecessary heartstrings plot, it was pretty fucking good.

The sequel’s gunna ride the “hurrr hurr another queen/female escaped the spaceship explosion and/or there’s more spaceships just kidding.”

It's an okay movie.

And why the fuck are they wasting time injecting them with the bio weapon instead of just blowing the damn ship in the first place?

This is what irked me about the entire thing after a certain point I'll detail:

In the beginning they bomb them (kinetic/flame weaponry). When they're on the research rig trying to leave while it's being attacked, Muri shoots a fuel pipeline and the flames literally destroy the male creature without issue and then you see the female half burnt with a burnt stub indicating that fire clearly works. JUST USE FUCKING FIRE?!/spoiler]

The writers felt the need to introduce how a young kid could be the key to finding the answer. Not going to speculate on the race of the young kid. Science needs to take a seat behind progressive beliefs? Because California.

Keep this nonsense in the on topic forum that you turned in to a boomer echo chamber. It’s bad enough you ruined one section of the site, don’t spread it to others.

i expected more of a lecture or lesson or something based on your spoiler. seemed neither and just a simple plausible plot device.
