oh no not at all, ive talked about that somewhere, they parts bin special the shit out of the vans.

vans never had DOD or AFM... half ton vans never got 6 speeds til like 2014? the 3/4 and 1 tons rocked out with 4l80es til like 2012? it's hilarious

i mean shit, the last LS powered new vehicle was a van's i think... 6.0 & 4.8 LS vans.

although now for 2021 they've got 2.8 diesel/ 4.3 v6 or 6.6 gas v8

Pads and rotors already night and day better. I'll likely do fluid here soon, I only had an hour and a half ish so I was under the gun to get the brakes done alone...

Vans a straight up fucking tank in the snow cracks me up how beastly it is... The crazy amount of weight coupled with the relatively narrow tires makes it just a complete beast.

i just figured a 3 mph super slow crawl to a stop out of the garage into park was okay... i dunno. that's waht i did then i did the 40 to 10 and 35 to 5 stops and then i drove about 35 minutes without hard braking and they feel super solid. im pumped how well they turned out.

also i somehow did brakes on an 11 year old GM product with 120k miles on it in about an hour and fifteen minutes :fyws: i was pumped

I didn’t break in shit, drove it nice for a bit then started doing some harder stops without fully stopping a few times. They’re fine.

the reasoning on the thing- i think it's a cover their ass situation- but i had an empty industrial park to do it in, i figured why not.

Hell I usually just coast out of my driveway, get to ringwood, blast up to like 75-80 before spring grove, stop hard, coast through the stop sign at 5ish if possible and just carry on with my day lol.
