Oil still looks good no elevated level?Haven’t tried yet, took a small break and the passenger side plugs are a PITA! I ordered an inspection camera to look inside the motor to see what is going on. Once all of the plugs come out I will try and turn it over by hand

Not too familiar with GDI but in diesel world it melts the cylinder down, similar to sticking a blow torch in the hole....
Gasser I don't know if it does that, definitely could, bend a rod
There is a place in Elk Grove Village (import shop) by Castle Chevy that flow tests / cleans injectors. Interested to hear what you find.

Try soaking it in 93 to see if that piece falls apart. Is it a piece of metal or rubber?
