I've learned that leaving my cars in the driveway before it snows allows me to back them into our culdesac and brush them off there in the street. That also leaves 2 larege clear spots in the driveway that don't need to be shoveled. This has greatly increased my shoveling efficiency. :)
Perfect. Now to buy 7 more cars to fill the driveway. ?

I did a time lapse of the snow. The video starts about 3:30pm yesterday and goes until noon today. It's an exposure every 20 seconds, and the video plays at 30fps. The snow starts about 45 seconds in. Neat to see once the sun starts to come up and the clouds change direction, then the sun comes out.

Shot in 4K:

Here is the same video on YouTube, but the 4K version is still processing, so only the 1080p is available at the moment:

Im learning that I just use the extra juice in the battery from the snow blower to use my leaf blower and clean my car off before I do my final clearing with the snow pusher.

I always wondered why the manufactures never put like a 3/4” nut on the starter so you could hit it with an impact to spin it up. Goes for other yard equipment too. Imagine using an impact to start a fussy chainsaw.
I had a old lawn mower that I started like that. Would make noises like I was Nascar when I did...lol

Realized the old using a paint stir stick to approximate 1/8” to adjust the scraper on the snowblower isn’t really accurate. Readjusted it on 1/8” drill bits and got a bit of a cleaner scrape. New skids are awesome. My neighbors blacktopped over a concrete driveway so there’s a pretty thick 2” plus step up when going over the sidewalk at their driveway. Thing cruised right over it.

I saw a GFS model that said 26 inches for just south of Chicago.

Fucking stoooooooooop. The northeast just had a major huge snow event and it just touched like 24 inches and that was a massive event. Where they actually get real snow storms. Anything double digits is a pipe dream here.
