I'd just go to Pequod's if that happened to me. It's practically next door. They used to not answer the phone or just say “nah too busy” click. Also waited fucking forever for pizza after waiting an hour to even go get it.

The "burnt" part is just a ring around the edge. It's flaky, just flake it off. Or don't eat the crust.Yep, she seemed to think it was better. This was years ago….I wouldn’t personally get either. Burnt cheese sucks.
Crust is part of the pizza experience. I personally don’t like it and won’t eat at either again, just not worth going for pizza I dislike when there’s better. The "burnt" part is just a ring around the edge. It's flaky, just flake it off. Or don't eat the crust.

My boss used to take us to pequods once a month since it was down the street, I’ve tried it plenty.
Millys is high on my list of want to try pizzas. My only issue with them is that I don't live in the city anymore, and driving the pizza home 30-35 minutes makes me feel like I won't be getting the full enjoyment out of it.Nice, now try Milly's.
I had Bartoli a couple years ago, I used to live down the street. I went back through my reviews briefly and couldn't find it. And honestly I don't have any recollection if it's any good.Maybe I missed it but has anybody done Bartoli’s deep dish?
I personally hate it but to each their ownHome Run has a really weird crust, it's like super buttered up or something and super starchy. I don't really enjoy that very much.

Try their thin crust version instead of the classic.
I've only had their thin crust, so no experience with the deep dish style.
Im talking about Home Run Inn, they have Classic and Thin Crust that you can choose from. Their classic isnt deep dish by any means, at least I dont take it as a deep dish style pizza.
