Village as mentioned is one of the Nick's brothers that opened another location after dispute with the other brother. They're pretty much the same recipe. It's good, but not the best. I DO like their (well Nick's) double decker sausage pizza though. It's basically two thin crusts stacked on top of one another.

Any good “Detroit style” pizza locally? Other than Jets or whatever? Been wanting to start trying different stuff locally, so much good pizza but usually just default to Rosatti’s it’s close, good, and reasonable.
There is a place in Naperville (someone has posted it here before).

Fiamme in Naperville is my favorite Detroit style in the area.

Paulie Gees in Logan Square makes a great Detroit style too.

WhenI picked up Lou's last time I bought some of their frozen pizzas too.

I picked up a Sausage Pizza, as well as a Italian Beef+Peppers Pizza.

Gotta say this Beef+Peppers pizza is delicious! As a frozen pizza, I don't think I've ever had better.

Only thing I did as liberally add crushed red pepper flakes before baking. So good.

I’ve had this a few times and it’s probably one of the better thin frozen pizzas. Mariano’s and JEWEL

Station 34 in Mount Prospect has decent Detroit style. Good bar overall too.
