Thats the story all over though.

F-body and Mustang production numbers are nowhere near their 70's and 80's numbers.

Multiple years in the 80's saw F-body and Mustangs eclipse 300k cars per year

Sports cars just don't sell like they used to.

All the fast C8's run a piggy back system. Fuel tech makes their own. The piggy back runs a port fuel injection system to offset the DI which functions as a stock car.

Its alot more than fuel though. Whats manipulating timing and I could have swore I read somewhere someone was into the trans too.

They can’t change the timing that I know of. They probably run high octane fuel. Trans is just upgraded clutches and axles. If they could manipulate the PCM like older cars, I imagine you’d see faster cars and a lot more of them.
