Spivitz Spivitz hit up White Cottage tonight since the dining room is back open. They redesigned the whole place and it looks modern inside now, they actually did a nice job. Took them almost 2yrs though. However they have no more servers, have to order up front and then go sit down. Self serve soft drinks now as well. We were not fans of that at all. When we go out we expect to get a server.

Mozzarella sticks sucked, they were undercooked, cream of chicken rice soup was pretty good. Pizza was better than the last time we went to Wood Dale but not great. We probably would not go back unless friends wanted to meet there. Didnā€™t want to be a creep and take more pics while people were eating

For cream of chicken rice, if you're a fan and consume bowl after bowl like me, I have an inexpensive way to make some good stuff. Grab a can of the Campbell's Homestyle Cream of Chicken soup. Then grab a box of the cilantro lime rice from Costco. Heat up, mix, enjoy.

The Wife makes her soups homemade lol, and yes she makes cream of chicken rice soup.

Next week Monday I head out to Long Beach, CA for work.
There is a pizza placed called 4th Horseman that is now a tradition to hit at least twice while out there for the 9 days.
The pie is so fucking good there. It's NY style pie. The place reminds me of the original Kuma's Corner. Same atmosphere and style.
I always get the Pig Destroyer with a side of their habanero sauce. Pepperoni, sausage and bacon!!!! That sauce is hot as fuck but worth it.
