I absolutely rate my food based on cost. I’ll never go to a Michelin restaurant for this reason. No way it’s worth it.
Hence the reason I love all the hood spots and or family owned spots in the city. Fair prices and the food is actually cooked with quality over quantity in mind. Plus you get that home cooking love, hard to explain that part, but IYKYK

Oh 100%! I get more excited when I find delicious food/drinks at a place that is reasonably priced.

I may go once to a Michelin restaurant for the whole experience. As I have never had a classically trained French chef-prepared meal. But otherwise, I'd rather go to a moderately priced place I like 2 or 3 times for the same money.

How hard is it to be consistent? We didnt go to WC tonight because the baby is teething. I wont do that to other people in restaurants, they shouldnt have to deal with a teething baby who is miserable. So we ordered V&V which is our go to for delivery. My biggest gripe with them has always been consistency with their pizzas, everything else they are pretty consistent on. Ive even talked shit to Chris who is one of the owners but in a friendly way. Few weeks ago the pizza was damn near perfect, extra thin, right amount of sauce/cheese and delicious. Tonight it was like fucking slop, waaaayyyy to much sauce and cheese, I had to eat the middle pieces with a fork. Most of the time its pretty good for the most part, but nights like tonight piss me off. The Wife and I usually come close to finishing a 14", tonight there is probably 1/2 leftover.
