I had been wanting to purchase an instapot/pressure cooker for quite some time and finally pulled the trigger a few months ago.
currently on sale at BB:
it's fucking AMAZING. im cookin' shit i've never thought to cook (baking bread from scratch, wtf?!)
it having an "air fryer" function is awesome in itself...
functions it can do:
i've legit been throwing everything at this thing lately.
last night, i saw a recipe for filet's with mashed potato's made in it, and had some cheapo 50% off filet's from jewel i saw yesterday so full send and they were fuckin' fantastic broil'd in the unit with the mashed potatoes pressure cooked at first in the unit, and then cooked under the steaks to finish.
no steakhouse level sear but fuckin' solid enough for a set it and forget it situation.
salmon filets, cooked from frozen, skin side up comes out PERFECTLY in 7 minutes on air fry at 390.
bread from scratch:
air fried pizza rolls:
i made the corned beef from frozen for these "reuben sliders" in like no time at all:
air fried bacon
air fried baked taters
brat's cooked with beer braised shredded underneath
air fried brussel sprouts
i tossed a frozen ginormous porter house in it from who knows when
mac and cheese quick AF
