I assumed Joel only visited the site via phone, so I'm surprised its still opening for him.

I just....hate it

Everything about it. Is it getting used more than threads? Feels like some Facebook shit that I’m amazed isn’t a thing on groups actually. Also between it, the banners and dead space it takes up literally half the screen on new posts.

Banners? What banners? Just minimize the thing and it takes up like 3 pixels.

Are you using an iPhone 4 or something? I'm able to see plenty of the new posts section.

AND, just for you Joel, Ive asked the dev behind the shoutbox how much he would charge (or if he would even do it) to allow the Shoutbox to be disabled on the user end.

ilikemtb999 ilikemtb999, apparently it was very easy for me to add an option to disable in preferences. You're welcome.

Notifications do randomly stop for whatever reason. It happens on and off. Probably stopped sometime yesterday afternoon.

They'll probably fire themselves back up today at some point. I'll have to look into why that happens.

As for the chat, I havent had any issues with it not staying closes on both my phone and laptop.

They’re back, and silly chat is gone for me. Thanks for the personal attention.

I’ve been getting them all morning. Missed a bunch of shit yesterday though. There’s also an option to get notifications again for things you already got them for? Forget what it exactly said.

Ya, thats in preferences. I might fire that up just to see if I missed anything. Ive got push notifications set for my phone so I was still getting alerts via that. Probably why I didnt notice.

All clicking that button did was restore all the closed out site wide notifications at the top, which I then closed again.

FYI, I am starting to notice that the chat wont respect the user state on mobile all the time (its random). I've let the dev know and hes going to adjust some settings in a future update.
