I loved seeing people say X tires fits X vehicle fine. The definition of fits is far different for some. To “fit” my 35’s I had to hack the shit out of the fenders.



Also JK owners use limiters or bump stop extensions to “fit” 35’s. Except now you have less articulation than bone stock

Ehh I wouldn't say that. Unless they throttle the electric motor. They're instant torque.

Rich, you ever seen a stuck alternator stop an engine in it's tracks? All that power through the belt and the belt doesn't break or slip, just stops the engine. You are conjuring up some sort of engineering problem that doesn't exist man.

No but I've seen plenty of a/c clutches and compressors lock up and burn the belt up.

All this alternator talk on that 2.0L and none of you picked up that damn OAD clutching device on the tip of the alternator (that black cap at the end of the alternator)

Which just means in 3 - 5 years when the mechanism freezes up, all you'll hear is "raaawwrrrr, raaaawwrrrr, raaaaawwwwarrr" coming from the drive just like all the Chrysler products that currently use them... It's exceptionally obnoxious if the A/C Compressor is engaged.
