How ridiculously loud are they?

Way different,, tastefully loud. I think the full Rinehart exhaust on the Heritage is louder.

One thing for certain, the tune fattened it up.
I completely flushed my MPG

Which is completely acceptable. It's a different bike.

Much happier now.

I'm gonna ride it, no more modifications needed

I wanted to ride yesterday, but couldn't really come up with a new route or destination. Ended up doing a 34+ mile bicycle ride instead.

I am planning on doing a ride to my dad's taking all country roads. Estimation is about 520-530 miles depending on which way I go (highway is ~500). Want to avoid interstates since the bike doesn't like being over 65-70mph for extended periods, even though I switched over to colder plugs (5's to 6's). Just isn't geared for it, or have the power, even though it's 1470cc. That single 40mm carb doesn't exactly scream "power".

Think I'll do this beginning of next summer. Need temps from sunrise to sunset to be comfortable for me, and the sunset needs to be later than 6:30pm.

These are the rough options Google Maps gives me for best route. Though I'd have no problem diverting from these for better roads or better scenery, so I'm open to ideas if anyone has any. I'm favoring the southern route since it'll take me into nicer riding areas of northern KY. I wouldn't be opposed to even going south of Louisville for better scenery, but that would add in a lot of extra miles. It'd have to be a 2 day ride down. Already looking at a good 12-13 hours once you figure in gas/food/bathroom.
