That's what I do currently, but I wouldn't mind a tail bag for longer rides where I plan on picking stuff up at some point along the way. Backpacks kinda annoy me after a while.

I was following my Pal, I haz no idea where he takes me. All I know is he flies on his 900lb Road Glide, scraping metal around every corner

That’s true I’m just driving around town or to work with the backpack, the straps start to tear me up on the way to work but I don’t live far from work
