Hard to come back today, I just wanted to keep on rolling. Launched from a dig against a 2003 stretched GSXR 1000. My Vtwinn was screaming while the Gixxer just casually throttled it staying right next to Me.



About 20 min before, snapped this

My hand held is supposed to come today for the bike, I have to upload the stock file and a few days later they send me a couple tunes I guess, they do a race gas tune also

They are making it easy these days. Did mine on a dyno with a wide band and used a Power Commander III to store the new mapping.

Have three tunes from the dyno. Pump (93) with cold plugs, blended 93/110 with cold plugs, and straight 110 with hot plugs for when I’m only doing track days.

I have their basic tune on mine, no handheld. I considered getting a race gas tune, and still might before road america just to see what kind of speed differences I'm seeing

Yeah I got the stage 2 Bren tunes, 93 and MR12 race gas, those guys are fast I emailed them at like 9:30-10 last night wake up this morning to tunes in my email

Quick little ride today just to test the tune, bike feels great much smoother and you can feel the anti wheelie give the power back as soon as the tire starts to come back down, with the stock tune it just cut power and it didn’t feel like it gave it back until the next gear

Took the Grom out yesterday for a little more than through the neighborhood ride.
Rode it out to my parents house. It's fun bike but I wouldn't make it a habit to ride this all the time.

How long of a ride was it, time and distance? IIRC don't they top out about 55 or 60, and that's if you're lying flat, like this?

It was from Pingree Grove to the east side of Elgin. It's about 30 miles round trip door to door. I max out at 53-54MPH flat ground.

Yeah, I could see that getting old pretty quick. Running it flat out and not even reaching country road speed would be challenging in traffic.
