Yeah, it is strange, and the Morgans can be ordered to your specs for color/materials. Think of the weight distribution with the engine hanging out over the front axle.. You could do a peg-leg peel for daaayyyyyys!

This just makes me want to watch Top Gear episodes all over again. So good! I want a show like that but with motorcycles. Does that exist?
I haven't seen anything similar to that with bikes, unfortunately. I ended up going back and watching that whole episode. Those were some good times.

After it rained Friday, the streets by me were mostly salt free. So I figured it was a good excuse to burn off a bunch of last year's gas. Still a lot of puddles and water runoff from melting snow though.
I also added some yellow LaminX to the headlight. Figured it might increase my visibility to other drivers a bit, and I like the nod to old school bikes.

Just planning to hit the usual spots for sure - Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, foothills parkway, Moonshiner (route 28), plus a ride out to Bridal Veil Falls. Maybe explore a little too. Most definitely will be stopping at Tapoco Lodge for a trout nugget lunch.
The Dragon is the main attraction down there, but there's a LOT of roads that honestly are more fun. Dragon is slow and very technical, while most the other roads are faster sweepers with scenery.
Exactly what I'm looking for. Away from the traffic and more enjoyable.
I think the Dragon just gets way too busy. Not sure I'd want to run it on a bike, definitely not during a weekend. I ran it in the car, on a Friday in fog and drizzle. For the entire run only had about 5 or 6 cars coming the other direction and one the direction I was going. Basically had the road to myself, and it would have been awesome had the g/f not gotten motion sick three turns in.
