A dude on the Harley forum
2018 Fat Boy
Was a 114, bumped to 128
Cams, tune etc

12.13 in the 1320
I asked how much he weighed cause he referred to himself as a fat boy.

Those mods should be low 11

That’s interesting. I’m running about 1 second faster, but a good 20mph faster at the traps.

Looks like it gets out of the hole fast but doesn’t have anything on the top end.
Yeah, aerodynamics and weight have zero to do with that.

Throw more money and ponies at it to compensate for the weight.

Sport bikes aren’t as aerodynamic as you think either. Both bikes have that big wheel out front with exposed forks and a radiator catching air.

Badlands in South Dakota. Amazing views!View attachment 95818
Did you ride all the way out? It's really weird how the landscape has such a dramatic change as soon as you cross the Missouri River.

I did that trip back in August 2016 the week before Sturgis. Some great riding out there. If you end up near Keystone/Custer, take a roll through Custer State Park and come back up north on the Iron Mountain Rd (16A). Be prepared to scrape floorboards. You can stop at the Mt Rushmore Vista and check out the monument from across the valley.

Route 87 was also a fun drive, but i think Iron Mountain Rd was better.

Yeah, we rode. We did all that today, plus Crazy Horse. Lunch at Mt. Rushmore right now then head back toward the cabin in Lead.
