Had a solid ride up rt25 last night with a buddy. Pit stop at sonic before heading home. Glad we got a ride in yesterday, this weekend is looking to be rained out
Set it upIf y’all can plan for an all day ride should do something like Potosi Brewing. It’s a solid 3 1/2 - 4 hour ride from the western burbs. But you get open road and a good place to eat/drink. Time permitting even do a river run. Figure a minimum 10 hour day though.

I can do that. Try to be there at 10, will probably meet up with others to go to LG at 11.
If I can conclude a motorcycle sale early enough tomorrow morning I’ll ride up to C&C.
Friend is selling his 2003 Kawasaki Mean Streak with about 23k miles on it. Super clean. My other friend is interested in it, so I’m the proxy and have been offered a 10% commission on the sale and half-a-dozen fresh cut T-bone steaks.

I picked up the friends bike only for the battery to be dead. Glad I had a jump pack. Did a battery swap with my cruiser to get it running for the pre-sale inspection.
In doing so also had to chase an electrical gremlin on my cruiser. Headlight not working. Turned out the switch shorted itself and took the 10A fuse with it. Got a new switch with weather/rubber cover, so all good now.
I’ve managed to ride a whole 1.3 miles so far today.
