Got out for a bit today but didn't go far. Rode to grab lunch, and that was just enough to scratch the itch. Nice weather will be here soon.
So my ssr110 pit bike has been a turd since day one, the carb is impossible to get dialed in it smokes terribly, and the carb has needed rebuilt 4-5 times in less than 2 years, I decided to buy a name brand carb to replace the china knock off junk, I bought a 2017 Honda 110 carb, swapped it on today had to take the top cap off the stock carb to keep the throttle cable happy, but out of the box it runs perfect had to adjust the idle and was mint
Runs great. Got new tires on it and a good scrub since last post. Need to replace a bearing in alternator and it'll be ready to go.

Got a few miles yesterday out around Yorkville with my buddy and his Street Glide. He's had some work done and we're pretty similar in acceleration now.
Winter mods.
The stock gauges were silver face with orange backlighting, and I found them very hard to read at night. I pulled em out and sent them in to Ohio Custom Gauges to be "upgraded". They're getting swapped to a black face with white numbers and red needles.
Shortly after I bought the bike I blew a stock speaker. It was replaced under warranty, but I think I damaged another at the end of the season, as it would crackle every now and then. I figured while I have it apart I'll throw some speakers in. One of my brother's buddys gave me a set of hand me down Harley Boom Stage 1 speakers to throw in.
