You're not wrong. But it's not his fault. The listing was misleading and to be fair, it was literally the only cabin we could fit a group of 8 guys in without sharing beds.
Did a ride with my neighbor on Sunday to Carol Stream / Hanover area to meet up with another group. Then we took off and rode up to the Broken Oar. It's been 15+ years since I've been there. There were so many bikes out there. When we pulled in, there was maybe 10 not including our group of 6. Within an hour, over a hundred. By the time we left 200+ bikes in the front lot, ton of classic and sports cars in the back lot. Man what a great place to ride to and hang out at. Cars and bikes on one side, boats on the other.

Put it some miles on Saturday. Went to a really good car and bike show in the morning Saturday in Gilberts. My god was it so hot outside though.
Ended up selling my springer to a friend. Going to keep the (2100 mile) Deuce and do a few things to it - Lower it 1-1.5" in the rear, change the exhaust, and change out the seat for something lower profile. Probably gonna go with something like the Vance & Hines Big Shots for exhaust.
I traded in the Svartpilen 401 this weekend. It had been a perfect bike for me the last couple years to build my skills and not a glitch during the 8k miles I put on it since 2020. But time for something with more usable power and a tad bigger.

Yep, CFmoto 700 CL-X Sport. Basically a 693cc parallel twin and trans derived from Kawasaki's 650, good for 74 hp and 49 tq. Big power upgrade from my Svart 401 with 44 hp and 27 tq, but obviously not like a liter bike or the full sport bikes. Not really light at 450ish lbs wet, but doesn't feel heavy to me even coming from my Svart that was 100 lbs lighter. Lot of value for the money ($6999 MSRP) with Brembos, cruise, 2 ride modes, ABS, slipper clutch, and full LED lighting. So I'll see how well a "Chinese" bike holds up over the next couple of years. Dealer (Rich's Yamaha) is only 15 minutes from me, and US headquarters is in Minnesota so service should be responsive as they are looking to build and expand their brand.

It's been out for over a year in Asia, and early reviews here in the US have been quite favorable. But long term is a relative unknown. I felt a bit reassured knowing that it's essentially a Kawasaki engine and the company partners with KTM for building a bunch of motorcycles. If it's horrible or in the shop a bunch during the 2 year warranty period, it's just an excuse to get something else, right?
