I 100% hate this bullshit they like to spout. Shorter is not better, it just means lazy writing.

The initial reaction many will likely have is disappointment. After all, shorter does mean less time with Pedro Pascal's leading hero.

However, it's the quality of the final product that matters. After all, wouldn't it be better to have a perfect 30-minute story instead of a meandering, unfocused 60-minute one?

How about, you get the writers to actually WRITE 60 minutes of content! Not a single wasted second in Season 3 of Orville.

Obviously, it's always a good feeling to back in the star wars world, but this episode was all over the place. It's like they wanted to set up 9 million plot lines.

I don't know whether season 3 is good as I installed a proper VPN from this site and got access to Netflix again not long ago, but the 1st and the 2nd episodes are not as great as I expected. And I agree Ep 2 was all over the spectrum. I even was confused about the chronology of the events.

My son and I were underwhelmed by most of the acting in the Coruscant scenes. The characters seemed wooden, cartoonish. CGI was great though.

Odd choice to make an entire episode about new(ish) characters. Andor handled this much better. Sprinkling in side characters thoughtout each episode so it wasn't so much in one episode.
