I finally got around to binging this over the last two days on paternity leave.

I made it a point not to read any reviews before watching as not to taint my expectations and experience. Glad I didn’t.

I loved every second of the show.

I guess you could call it slow, it didn’t feel that way by LOTR standards though.

I’m particularly geeked out about all the characters that are major parts of the lord we are going to see develop through hopefully a number of seasons. Galadriel, Isildur, Gandalf, Sauron

CRAP. The first 3 episodes of this are out now as well. Between this and Kaos and F1 I am just going to have to cancel ALL of my social plans this weekend. Shit. There's also Moto GP this weekend too. Good thing I've got a 3 day fuckin weekend this weekend.

Anyone watching? Just me? Ok. Well just finished up ep 4. There is so many different storylines and characters to get caught back up on from season 1 that i'll be honest, the first few episodes were a bit of a slog, but after ep 4 it looks like things are finally taking a forward momentum here. Towards what, I'm not all too sure :ROFLMAO: I did enjoy season 1, but if I'm being honest SpeedSpeak2me SpeedSpeak2me I'm a bit luke warm on this season so far. I mean it has all the LOTR "things", but that only takes the show so far. With the season basically half over (only 8 eps), they better get a move on from here on out.

Honestly, it’s just okay.

Also, I haven’t watched it. Or any of the movies.

Might be close to Shaving Ryan’s Privates.

:ROFLMAO:

I will say tho, since you brought it up. I have been watching the Harry Potter icons unearthed series on vice, and I've come to the realization that ive MAYBE only ever watched the first 2 movies in that series. There's 8!! Who knew! Amazon did recently have the 8 movie 4k bluray set on sale for a pretty good discount, I did think about picking it up. I thought about it.

I did catch the back half of the second episode for the one on Tom Cruise. That Hairy Porter one was right after it.
