Shit, it's a $70 game now. 2 years ago they were giving it away.
Glad I have the digital version saved.
Of course they're going to milk it. I'm not sure but not to long ago it was free streaming through the ps+ subscription (just not sure what tier though).

Bill is gay in the game. There's a bunch of references to it you find along the way in his section of the game and it becomes clear.
In the game frank and Bill were separated cause Frank couldn't stand being around bill's paranoia.
Frank tries to get a battery from a heavily infected area and gets bitten. He then hangs himself. You can find Frank's suicide note and it is essentially fuck you Bill.
And there's a moment in the game where you can give Bill the letter.

All of a quick mention of it in the game. Meanwhile we get to see half an hour of 2 horrible acting dudes get intimate and emotional with eachother on the TV show version, where 99.9% of your audience are heterosexual videogame lovers... Great way to please your target audience.

It was more of a quick mention. There were SEVERAL things in the game about it. Including Ellie finding the nude male magazine with the pages stuck together.
They didn't hide it, but they also didn't cone right our with Bill singing from the roof tops, IM GAY.
Not arguing the fact the characters were gay, they did more than imply it as well, Bill even said Frank was his "partner" in the game. But that was it, they just mentioned it here and there with little things. It wasn't a drawn out 30 minute storyline you played through like this episode was tonight. It made no sense, and served no purpose. Especially given the audience that is watching.
