Aaaaand thats the season done. I enjoyed this season, tho, yeah, maybe not the best one. But it does set up a hell of a season 5, which I will be looking forward to.

Ok so Gina and I have been watching this over the past couple weeks and I am losing steam on the show. We are about halfway through season 2 and I am losing interest for one reason......and it is kind of a stupid one.

I LOATHE the fact that Utrid is now wearing fucking eye liner like some 80's glam-rock Johnny Depp Pirates of the Carribean wanna be. It is so distracting.

I binged this show over COVID and I'm in love. I really really really enjoyed this show. I would 10/10 recommend it!

Cannot wait to find out if season 5 will happen!

GOT had some very lacking seasons as well... but overall, IMO, only based on the fact that there are more seasons, thus more entertainment, GOT wins. I really do like that TLK is loosely based in history.

Show has awesome writing but it fell really flat last season. No payoffs. Nothing really resolved. But maybe that's the fault of the source material and not the writers.

Filming is underway in Hungary on the final 10-part season, which will continue to follow the adventures of Uhtred of Bebbanburg (Alexander Dreymon), a warrior born a Saxon but raised as a Dane, in ninth and tenth-century England.

So since the show is ending w/ season 5, I wonder what they'll do w/ the movie. And season 4 came out what, like a year and a half ago?
