The meets that really stand out to me over the past years...

  • That late night at Wheeling Superdog after a cruise from Streets of Woodfield.

  • Spring Time Epic Deli

  • Brat Stop/Milwaukee Cruise

  • 3800 Mod/Race Day in Harvard

  • 4-Corners

  • Early morning downtown Chicago breakfast at I want to say Lou Mitchells?

  • Christmas at Brickhouse

  • Cordova Track rental

This parking lot in Naperville at N Aurora and Raymon is almost always empty since the big stores left. It’s close to 88. There’s a dine-in taco restaurant in the corner, but they don’t have a walk-up option, which is disappointing. Maybe the brew pub on N Aurora would be good for a one-off meet because we’d essentially have the lot to ourselves.

Woody's (https://goo.gl/maps/QkXS1Q6yE4Dw8Zq1A) - Parking lot is kinda small but great bar w/ good food
Pyramid (https://goo.gl/maps/txsLGi1uEQYCLTkf9) - huge lot, tons of pool tables, place is huge, food is good
Brickhouse (https://g.page/brick-house-tavern-tap-il?share) - has the party room, some decent talent (haven't been in a while though so this could have changed)
Miller's (https://goo.gl/maps/5J2WhCaczmMq3Lpw9) - right down the street from Brickhouse, big place, has a back room w/ full bar that can be reserved iirc
Brauer House - (https://goo.gl/maps/kF3uvdHd34SZKwfM8) - Has a room that can be reserved, has live music most weekends, fucking massive quesadilla's

ps. best part of Woody's:

Brauer has a cruise night every Wednesday or Thursday iirc. Lots of nice cars attend, then you have the Rat Rods as well

Fuck them. We used to happily go there and give them lots of money and then one holiday I called and said I wanted to use the party room and wed have at least 30 people... And they wanted me to pay them 2000 to reserve the room. I laughed and hung up.

Never again.
I'm not a fan either. Went there for dinner three years ago for my birthday (which was just a few days ago) and my g/f asked for a glass of juice (pineapple?) with no ice. They give her a 20oz glass with about 8oz of juice. Asked WTF this was? They said that's all the dispense, the ice takes up the rest of the glass. Are you fucking kidding me? Had a talk with the manager, it was like $3-$4 for that 8oz shot. They would't relent, either by taking it off the bill or filling up the glass.

Two years ago went there for my friends 40th. They had an area roped off, inside by the patio. Staff made no effort to keep patrons out. We had to constantly keep asking people to leave, not eat the buffet food that was out, or to sit n the area. Cause if they ordered a drink from that area it went on our tab.

Fuck 'em.

I’ve been taking about this for years, but I’d love for TCG to crash a Cruise night.

I go to the Lemont car show every Wednesday. One of the best around in my opinion and you can bring a cooler and walk around with a good beer while checking out cars.

The show on 75th and Lemont (4 corners) on Tuesdays is usually packed. I've taken my kids there in the past. Ran into The Beast The Beast and Pressure Ratio Pressure Ratio a few times there.
